Windows Virtual PC For Windows 7 SP1

Windows Virtual PC is the virtualization software from Microsoft. Virtual PC can be used to run multiple Operating Systems on the same computer. One Operating System (mainly installed on the hardware) is called the host OS and all other Operating Systems created through Windows Virtual PC are called guest OS.

With the release of Windows 7 SP1, Windows Virtual PC has also been updated to include Windows 7 SP1 as a guest OS. Now with the new Virtual PC, Windows 7 SP1 can be installed from the Virtual PC.

System Requirements

  • Supported Operating Systems:Windows 7
  • Processor: Intel®, AMD®, VIA® processors capable of hardware-assisted virtualization, with the setting turned on in the BIOS.
  • Memory: 2GB of memory recommended.
  • Hard disk requirement: 20MB hard disk space for installing Windows Virtual PC.
