Microsoft has finally released the much awaited Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. The same Service Packs were made available to OEM partners and then to Technet/MSDN subscribers and now they’re available to everyone.
You can download SP1 from Windows Update but if you want to keep the installation setup with you, you can download SP1 from the links given below.
Windows 7 Service Pack 1 is available to the users in the form of an ISO image which is about 2GB in size. Microsoft requires Windows Genuine Advantage validation in order to download the Service Pack 1. Just go to the below location, select your language, validate your Windows and download Windows 7 Service Pack 1 or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.
