Microsoft has recently updated its Outlook Hotmail Connector. Outlook Hotmail Connector enables one to access and manage Hotmail and Office Live Mail accounts within Microsoft Outlook. You can manage your email, contacts and calendar from within Outlook. Outlook Hotmail Connector supports Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010.

This latest update (14.0.6106.5001) includes several stability and reliability fixes and supports the HTTPS protocol for all communication between Microsoft Outlook and Windows Live Hotmail, Calendar and Contacts.
If you’re using Outlook Hotmail Connector with Outlook 2010, you will receive additional benefits like whitelist or blacklist a recepient, you Hotmail status appears in Outlook status bar and you can setup rules for your Hotmail account whether it’s your primary account or not. All these features are not available with the previous versions of Outlook.
Using the connector is very simple. Just download the connector from the location below and install it. Add your Hotmail account and start using Outlook as normal. No complex configurations are required.
