In Windows 7, Windows Media Center was only included in Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate editions. Same was the case with Windows Vista. But Windows XP came with a separate edition, Windows XP Media Center Edition. Microsoft has given an option to install Windows Media Center in Windows 8 for all users.
