Windows is the most used Operating System and data back is the most important regular task to perform because of the unreliable nature of digital storage drives. Although Windows provides some ways to backup data, there are a large number of backup software available for Windows. These software can be specialized in backing up a specific area of Windows or cloning the whole hard drive. For example, there are some software which can backup Windows Registry or some software can sync and backup data to a cloud server. You can also backup Windows device drivers or even Windows 7 themes. There are other complete backup solutions like Ocster Backup.
EaseUS Todo Backup is another complete backup solution for Windows which is free for home use. The latest version, EaseUS Todo Backup Free 5.0 has been released today. This release adds several interesting features including support for Microsoft Outlook and Windows 7 Libraries (and probably Windows 8 Libraries too). EaseUS Todo Backup Free 5.0 also adds support for larger capacity hard drives with capacities exceeding 2 TB.
Although EaseUS Todo Backup 5.0 is free for personal use, the free version lacks some of the features of the paid versions. The premium features not included in the free version include differential backup, backup to tape, backup files/partition in Windows Explorer.
The user interface of EaseUS Todo Backup 5.0 has been revamped and is now very easy to use. The home tab contains all the options of data backup, recovery and clone. You can either backup individual files or can do a complete system backup.
