Windows 7 Service Pack 1 RTM Final and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 Final has been released to MSDN and TechNet subscribers. These downloads will be publically available on 22nd February via Windows Update or Microsoft Download Center.
The Service Pack 1 contains all the security updates of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 released until now. There are two new features included in SP1. RemoteFX enables server side graphics rendering for thin clients using Microsoft’s VDI system. Dynamic Memory optimizes the memory resources in such a way that more virtual machines can be used on the same resources available to the system.

After signing in with your Windows Live ID, search for Service Pack from the search menu and then click on Windows 7 from the search results.
The first result you’ll get will be the Service Pack 1 download for Windows 7. If you want to download Service Pack 1 for Windows Server 2008 R2, then you can select Windows Server 2008 R2 from the search results.
