Picasa is an image manager and editor which lets you find, edit and share your pictures. Picasa searches and locates all the pictures in your computer and organizes them in folders. You can create albums. Picasa also gives you the ability to edit your pictures. Google has recently updated Picasa and the new version of Picasa is Picasa 3.9 build 135.93 at the time of this writing. Let’s go through some of the exciting features of Picasa 3.9.

 Share your pictures with Google+ circles

Open the Picasa, find and search your Pictures. When you have the picture or pictures you want to share. Click on the Sign in with Google Account that appears on the upper right corner. When you click on that a window appears asking for your username and password. Enter your username and password. Now you will see your email address at the right top corner. Click on the Share on Google+ button. You will see this window. Now you can create any album with New button.

Change the size of the image for web sharing or original. Add any message and enter the circle to which you want to share those pictures. To select multiple images get back to library and select multiple images and then click on share on Google+ button.

To add a name, Click on any picture and then click on the Show/Hide People Panel.

Now click on the Type a name box. When you have typed press Enter. You will be prompted with another box. Click on the New person button to add it. Click OK. Upload it and you will see the name tagged with the person.

When you open a picture you will see new effects in the left corner. Click on any effect to apply
