With the launch of Firefox 12, the aurora version of Firefox 13 has been launched. Firefox 13 comes with more advanced features in addition to Firefox 12. Firefox 13 is scheduled to be in Aurora for 6 weeks and then it will be moved to beta and the final version will be released in about 12 weeks in total. Firefox 13 will come with a lot of new features and enhancements to the current features and functionality.
Firefox 13 comes with the auto updater function. This means that most of the updates in Firefox 13 will silently update in background without annoying the user.
Firefox 13 also has a reset browser feature which will be useful for the installations of Firefox which become corrupt. Now you can reset Firefox settings to their default values using the reset feature.
Firefox 13 comes with a completely redesigned home page and the new tab page. If you open a new tab in Firefox 13, you will see the thumbnails of recently opened web pages as well as most frequently visited sites.
The new awesome bar in Firefox 13 will automatically complete the URLs as you are typing saving you a few keystrokes and time.
The SPDY protocol comes enabled by default in Firefox 13 for faster browsing on supported sites.
