iPhone 5 has finally been announced by Apple. Normally when Apple releases a new hardware, the software is also updated to support the new hardware. Same is the case with iTunes. iTunes has also been updated to version 10.7 with support for the latest iOS 6. This is not a major release of the software but it includes a lot of bug fixes and new features with a tweak in user interface. The major update of iTunes has been planned to be released in October this year. Since the main purpose of this post is to give the users the chance to download iTunes for their Windows or Mac computers, we will stick to the ways to download iTunes only.

There are two ways to download or update your iTunes software.

Using iTunes update function

If you have already installed iTunes on your computer, Apple makes it really easy to update iTunes to the latest version. While installing iTunes, if you had already selected “Automatically update iTunes and other Apple software”, you will probably have the latest version by now.
